The entire show was awesome
The opener, Michael Franti & Spearhead, was fantastic when we saw them for the first time. They were great in concert and we would see them anytime. Some people bought tickets and brought their kids just for him and his band, as we heard. They were very entertaining.
Sons of Legion, as usual, was great. I don't see how anyone can give Sons of Legion a bad review. They always entertain with all they have. Sons of Legion also make sure to thank their fans and know that without their fans they wouldn't be where they are now. Sons of Legion never even take a 5 minute break and play like the audience isn't even there. The whole Sons of Legion band is just so terrific. They seem to think about where they are playing and make their sets fit the place and the crowds when in concert. They played a mix of their oldies and some new stuff, which was great because some other fans were saying they only played new stuff. Sons of Legion and their band were at their best. The only thing I wish they had done, as they have at other concerts, was come back on stage as an encore, just them and their guitars.
The paperless entry was a bit confusing, and a lot of people didn't get to see Franti & Spearhead's entire show because it took so long to get through the gates.
Sons of Legion, take care of yourselves, you looked a bit thin and a little tired, but it certainly didn't affect your performance. Best of luck with the rest of the tour. We are thrilled that we heard you are going to Ireland, we hope that is more than a rumor. Thanks Sons of Legion for another fantastic show; we can't wait to see you again.
